Every friendship group has a leader. Could it be you? Pick your London league and recruit like it’s Transfer Deadline Day. Nobody’s off limits.

Set up the WhatsApp group: control tower, media hub and tactics clinic in one. Build your Powerleague profile, learn the 5-a-side rules, and watch the goals rack up (never the clean sheets). Keep an eye on Ringerz in the app. You’ll need it.

It’s matchday at Powerleague in London. Two players drop out an hour before kick-off, and they’re no longer part of the team. The opposition’s speed stuns you, the scoreline’s best forgotten, but you loved every minute. By full-time, the group chat’s already planning next week.

Week nine. No points, goal difference of -53, but the team’s finally clicking. Then it happens: a last-minute equaliser. The bar at Powerleague London doesn’t know what’s coming. There’s no looking back now.
