Powerleague Padel Continues to Grow: Six New Clubs Coming in 2026

On 6th July 2024, Powerleague opened its very first padel courts in Shoreditch, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter as it expanded into one of the UK’s fastest-growing sports. Since then, thousands of players have taken to our 10 city-centre padel locations. Whether for casual games with friends, competitive league matches or corporate events, they’ve discovered why padel has become one of the UK’s favourite ways to stay active, socialise and compete.

Now, as we move into the second half of 2026, we’re excited to announce the next stage of our padel expansion, with six more Powerleague clubs set to open brand-new, state-of-the-art padel courts before the end of the year.

New Powerleague Padel Courts Coming Soon

As part of our continued investment in padel, we’ll be opening 25 brand-new state-of-the-art canopied padel courts across six Powerleague clubs, allowing more opportunities for people to come together and enjoy the UK’s fastest-growing sport.

Autumn will see the first wave of openings, with Gateshead becoming our largest upcoming padel development, opening 5 new courts as part of a £1 million investment. Bolton will also welcome four new courts following an investment of £825,000.

The expansion will continue into the end of the year, starting in October with Milton Keynes unveiling four new courts following a £900,000 investment. Moving into November, both Liverpool and Peterborough will open four brand-new courts, each supported by £850,000 investment. With the final opening coming in December when Enfield will also welcome four new courts as part of an £850,000 investment.
